Cost The Image Club will not be making a charge for this event. A collection will be made on the day, with all monies donated to the National Memorial Arboretum. Car parking charges apply (£3 maximum).
Please join me on a truly spiritual and uplifting stroll around this very special Centre of Remembrance.
All the trees and flowers within the 150 acre landscape are relevant to the many sculptures and memorials we will come across, as we wander the carefully tended pathways in this most beautiful and tranquil of settings.
So many stories are shared here that every visit is memorable, and while we will learn together, we will also be taking some time on our own to reflect.
Photography
Photography is encouraged through the NMA Friends Photography Competition which is currently open for 2012 submissions.
Photojournalist Alison Baskerville will also be exhibiting with a collection of her photographs depicting life in Afghanistan for our service personnel.
