Beautifully situated alongside the River Manifold on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border, and under the watchful gaze of Thorpe Cloud lies the imposing Peak District village of Ilam. We will start our day with a picturesque circular walk, giving us the opportunity to take in just a tiny part of the White Peak’s Manifold Valley, before returning to the village and Ilam Hall. After a break for refreshments, you will be given a number of simple but enjoyable tasks to undertake with your camera, as you begin to look a little closer at just what this stunning National Trust parkland has to offer.

Interested in a non-competitive fun filled day of photography? Then why not come along.

Please note the date for this event has changed from that originally advertised in the programme of walks.

  1. I had a great time out with the club for the first time and found it very interesting, even though the weather cut the day short. Also thanks to everyone who came and made me feel very welcome.
